GLO Studio is an artist-led neon design studio transforming light into meaning. We create custom neon, luminous artworks, creative installations, and radiant home goods — all crafted with warmth, imagination, and heart.

Our mission is simple but powerful: to Light Up lives by blending the worlds of sculpture and illumination, pushing the boundaries of art and design to spark connection, joy, and wonder.

Our story began with a gesture of love — a custom neon piece Lena made for her dear friend Sas’s baby shower. That heartfelt glow became the spark for Name Glo, and eventually GLO Studio.

We opened our first studio and storefront in the Lower East Side, and today we’re proud to call Chinatown our home — a creative hub where art, light, and community meet.

Since those early days, Lena and Sas have grown GLO into a full-service design studio and workshop, collaborating with blue-chip artists, cultural institutions, global brands, agencies, and event planners to light up the world.

At the heart of it all is founder and artist Lena Imamura, whose vibrant, inviting creative voice defines the soul of GLO. Her vision reimagines neon as more than signage — it’s storytelling in light.
