In 2016, GLO developed the first custom neon design app, introducing real-time visualization tools for glass neon at a time when no such systems existed for the medium. That early work helped establish a new baseline for how custom neon could be designed and commissioned online.

The current GLO Custom Neon Design Platform is a completely new system, developed to address what existing tools still did not offer: a unified platform supporting both premium glass neon and LED with real pricing logic, embedded education, and end-to-end production considerations. The platform integrates visualization, accurate pricing, and production-ready outputs within a single workflow.

By aligning creative design with fabrication, installation, and shipping realities from the outset, the platform functions as both a client-facing design environment and an internal production tool, supporting bespoke work at scale while preserving craft and clarity.
