Clear Heart is a series of hollow resin sculptures in the shape of hearts, each filled with upcycled, symbolic objects from my life. These works explore how we carry our pasts—emotionally, physically, and symbolically—whether we mean to or not.
The first hearts were made during a studio move, using items I had packed away: things no longer useful or relevant, but still deeply tied to who I am. I wanted to make them visible again. To honor them.
Each heart is a kind of personal archive—a transparent body holding memory, experience, and emotion. The series is an invitation to reflect on what we hold inside, and how those stories continue to live with us.
Love Me For Me holds a collection of neon elements and artificial flowers—objects that represent the signals we send out in hopes of being seen, chosen, and loved. It reflects the performance we often stage for affection: curated, loud, even desperate at times.
This heart is about the longing to be recognized beneath the show. The desire to be affirmed not for the mask, but for the mess and truth beneath it. A soft, stubborn hope that someone will love us exactly as we are.
