Full Spectrum is the installation running through Matrixed Systems, one frame for each artist in the show. Every frame carries two streams of light drawn from a week of that artist's voicenotes.

A custom AI listened across the whole week and distilled the patterns, the words and thoughts that kept repeating, into short phrases. The top stream is the outer state, what the artist meant to say about their work. The bottom stream is the inner state, what was coming through underneath the telling. Neither is the truth behind the other but rather two registers of the same voice.

We transmit far more than we mean to, all day long, and almost none of it is received. This belongs to all of us, not just artists. We carry the gap between what we mean and what comes through, and leak signals we never meant to send.

Full Spectrum is a room built for receiving and exchanging these signals. Visitors press the button next to any line that resonates with them. Each press travels back to the artist through a live webfeed and a chat channel inside DFOS. The piece is a feedback loop for each artist to see which of their lines found someone, and DFOS opens the path from signal to conversation.

Full Spectrum ran at GLO Modern from May 29 to June 29, 2026, and stays open as a living archive at fullspectrum.vercel.app.
